1. Carrier Secures Orders of 200 Refrigerated Containers from Maersk Line
Striving to further reduce the environmental impact of its global shipping operations, Maersk Line, a world leading container shipping line, has ordered the first 100 of a total of 200 refrigerated containers to be chilled by Carrier Transicold’s NaturaLINE natural- refrigerant based system. Carrier Transicold’s highly efficient NaturaLINE is the first container refrigeration system to use the natural refrigerant carbon dioxide (CO2).

2. Ziehl-Abegg India Moves to Bigger Premises
Ziehl-Abegg started its first production facility in India at Chakan, Pune in West India in 2013. With the increase in its business volume over the past three years, it has moved into bigger premises in December 2016, also located at Chakan. The new facility has warehousing and production units under one roof. It is ISO 9001:2008 certified.

3. Trane Shines with Chillers Using New Refrigerants in Las
At the 2017 AHR Expo held in Las Vegas, the United States, Trane, an Ingersoll Rand brand, highlighted the Series S CenTraVac centrifugal chiller adopting R514A refrigerant that is a smaller capacity unit than the CenTraVac adopting hydrofluoroolefin (HFO) refrigerant R1233zd(E).

4. TICA Recognized as Top-level Air Purification Equipment Manufacturer
TICA’s air handling units have retained the largest market share for the past consecutive six years in China’s air purification industry. In the fields of microelectronics, hospital operating rooms, and biopharmaceutical cleansing, TICA air purification equipment has a market share of more than 40%.

5. MTH to Expand AC Production Structure at Thai Joint Venture MACO
The aim of the expansion is to allow for a flexible response to the rising global needs for comfort air conditioning, as well as growing robust demand and market needs for residential and commercial air conditioners, mainly in Asia. The new facilities are scheduled to begin operations in early 2018, with an expected increase in production volume to 2.7 million units by fiscal 2020 (end March 2021), a 30% increase compared to fiscal 2015.
