2. DecarbHeat 2017 to Take Place in Brussels on May 11-12
The European Heat Pump Association (EHPA) will hold the Decarb-Heat 2017 conference at the BEL in Brussels from May 11 to 12, 2017. The DecarbHeat initiative aims to bring together the major players in the heating and cooling industry and other key stakeholders.

3. YORK YMC2 Chiller Realizes Lower Ownership Costs and Higher Efficiency

4. GMCC Facilitates Rotary Compressor Factory Automation
China-based rotary compressor giant Guangdong Meizhi Compressor Company (GMCC) is accelerating its factory automation. Its lean production system includes automatic designs such as integration of vision and robots, automatic transportation, die- casting, and detection.

5. Panasonic Expands AC Business in Asia
In the end of January 2017, Panasonic has started production of air conditioners in Thailand to increase sales and meet the expanding demand in the country by utilizing existing facility of Panasonic Appliances Refrigeration Devices (Thailand) which manufactures heat exchangers for cooling and air conditioning systems. Production of air conditioners at the Thai facility for 2017 is expected to be about 500,000 units, which could be expanded in the future depending on market demand.
