Carrier expands PTAC recall

Carrier has expanded the recall of certain models packaged terminal air conditioners and heat pumps to more than 500,000. About 285,000 units were recalled in December 2015 and 185,000 in November 2007 due to the potential for the power cord plug to overheat and catch fire.
