2. Mitsubishi Electric Demo Truck Fleet Adds Second Set of Wheels
Mitsubishi Electric’s second and newest demo truck is currently making stops on the West Coast. The truck is equipped with City Multi outdoor units, indoor units, and a control panel. Following in the footsteps of successful debut in 2015, the demo truck is set to make a stop at the 2017 AHR Expo, providing a tangible way for visitors to walk through and experience the full functionality and benefits of VRF technology.

3. Secop Going Ahead with HC Compressors
During JARN’s interview at Chillventa 2016, Mr. Mogens Soholm, president and CEO of Secop, highlighted energy efficiency and variable speed technology, “Variable speed compressors for household refrigeration applications are increasing dramatically in 2016. We have also seen the huge potential of this technology in the light commercial refrigeration segment to really make leads in energy efficiency.”

4. Haier Releases HomeKitenabled Air Conditioner
On November 26, 2016, Haier released the world’s first HomeKit enabled air conditioner which provides a better experience for Apple users.  Using the ‘Family’ app, users can easily control their Haier air conditioners by clicking or speaking on their smartphone.

5. MTH Develops Commercial Refrigeration Condensing Units Using CO2
Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Thermal Systems (MTH), which is part of the Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) Group, has developed commercial refrigeration condensing units that use the natural refrigerant CO2 (R744). The high performance of the new model is supported by the two-stage scrotary compressor, a combination of a scroll compressor and a rotary compressor.
