1. ACREX India 2017
The 2017 chapter of ACREX India will be held at the India Exposition Mart (IEML) in Delhi from February 23 to 25, organized by the Indian Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers (ISHRAE) and NuernbergMesse India. The show will feature diverse building engineering services including electrical and plumbing, building automation, and the ever growing cold chain in addition to other HVAC&R segments.

2. Stefan Brandl to Become CEO of ebm-papst
The shareholders of the ebm-papst Group, market and technology leader for fans and motors, have appointed Stefan Brandl as chairman of the Board of Directors. He will officially take up his post on January 1, 2017.　 As chief operating officer (COO), Thomas Wagner is to continue until then as spokesman for the Board of Directors of the corporate group.

3. JCI Celebrates 100th Anniversary in Chinese Market
The year 2016 marks the 100th anniversary of JCI’s entry on the Chinese market. Over the past 100 years, JCI has laid great emphasis on the Chinese market. Since the 1990s, JCI has enjoyed rapid development in China, keeping pace with China’s economic growth. Nowadays, JCI has set up 17 plants and has over 14,000 employees in 44 cities across China.

4. Euroklimat Starts to Sell Magnetic Bearing Chillers
Euroklimat inverter centrifugal chillers applying Danfoss magnetic bearing compressor TT series were among the first to be installed at the Shenzhen Academy of Aerospace Industry Technology and was established on October 31. In early 2016, Euroklimat carried out strategic cooperation with Smardt, a world- leading manufacturer of magnetic bearing centrifugal chillers, and launched the Smardt- Euroklimat brand in China.

5. Daikin and NEC Launch Joint Research Using AI and IoT
Daikin and NEC have agreed to launch joint research in order to realize a type of air and space with highly intellectual productivity by highly controlling the air conditioning and other equipment by means of NEC’s advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Internet of Things (IoT) technologies on the basis of Daikin’s technology for optimally controlling the air and findings about the influence air and space exerts on man.
