2. Rising Raw Material Prices in China May Lead to AC Price Rise
According to an industry insider, the price of air conditioners in retail stores is expected to increase by the end of 2016 at the earliest. Almost all leading air conditioner manufacturers in China are considering increasing their product prices due to a rapid increase in the price of raw materials.

3. Latest Trends in Global Refrigerant Regulations
Regulations relating to environmental issues include refrigerant regulations and energy-saving regulations as well as environmental regulations such as hazardous substances regulations. And if history is any indication, regulations and policies that are first adopted by the remarkably environment-conscious European Union (EU) are either completely or at least partially incorporated by other regions. For example, refrigerant regulations introduced in stages by the EU targeting chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs), hydrochlorofluorocarbons (HCFCs), and hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs) have subsequently been embraced throughout the globe.

4. HVACR/PS Southeast Asia Expo in Indonesia
HVACR/PS Southeast Asia, formerly known as HVACR/PS Indonesia, was held from November 23 to 25 in Jakarta, Indonesia, expanding to the target market of Southeast Asia and including buoyant markets in the region.. This HVACR/PS Southeast Asia was supported by 11 Indonesian ministries and associations. Around 70 exhibitors attended the expo, and the 75,000 HAVC&R technicians in Indonesia were part of the target audience.

5. China AC Sales Grow in Africa and Shrink in Latin America
In September, Africa achieved a strong market performance with 81.8% year-on-year growth. South Africa, Nigeria, and Algeria were the top three export destination countries of made-in-China air conditioners in September.  Impacted by sluggish market conditions in Brazil and Argentina, Latin America suffered a shrinking market in September.
