1. MHI Targets Global Top in Thermal Solutions Business
Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) split off its air conditioning and refrigeration (AC&R) business to its new wholly owned group company, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Thermal Systems, effective October 1, 2016.
Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Thermal Systems plans to speed up the investment and decision-making process to expand business at overseas bases. It is aiming to double the size of its overseas business and achieve sales of \300 billion (US$ 3 billion) in the near future.

3. Chillventa Aims at Sustainable Growth through Environmental Stewardship and Energy Efficiency
Among exhibited products, heat pumps stood out, and this technology benefits from high growth potential in Europe as systems using renewable energy. Complying with Eco-design legislation in the European Union, inverter products were another highlight. JARN set up its booth in Hall 9 and handed out recent magazines until stocks ran out. The newly released September Special Issue on the World Refrigeration Equipment Market received very favorable feedback from visitors.

4. TCL ACs Gaining Ground on Global Stage
Sales of TCL air conditioners are increasing rapidly in major markets such as Russia, Saudi Arabia, and African countries such as Libya and Guinea. Beyond climatic considerations, this rapid increase is largely derived from the optimization of the operation and servicing of TCL air conditioners.

5. Kobe Symposium 2016 Coming Up Soon--Now Open for Pre-Registration
The Kobe Symposium targets companies and associations in industries including HVAC&R systems and parts, lubricants, refrigerants, logistics, facility management service, building design and construction, electricity and gas, and up to 500 attendees are expected to gather in Kobe.
