1. ASERCOM + EPEE Symposium at Chillveta Congress on October 10
At Chillventa Congress on October 10, the day before Chillventa starts, ASERCOM + EPEE Symposium will be held from 13:00 to 17:00 at NurnbergConvention Center Ost. With the theme of ‘Heating, Cooling and Refrigeration: Crucial to Achieving Europe’s Energy and Climate Goals’, there will be 12 lecturers organized by Association of European Component Manufacturers (ASERCOM) and European Partnership for Energy and the Environment (EPEE).

2. LU-VE Cools Control Systems of New Panama Canal
LU-VE Group, the European leader in the production of equipment for refrigeration and air conditioning, is proud to announce its contribution to the New Panama Canal project. LU-VE Group supplied the close control air conditioning of the infrastructure’s ‘brain’, regulating the traffic: data center; UPS, electrical storage and battery rooms; and traffic control centers.

3. Midea America Breaks Ground on US$ 10 Million R&D Center
On August 30, 2016, Midea strengthened its U.S. footprint by breaking ground on a US$ 10 million R&D Center in Louisville, Kentucky. The newly built Midea America Research Center (MARC) will provide technical expertise in developing home appliance products for the U.S. market.

4. Daikin to Develop European Refrigeration Market with Zanotti
In April, Daikin announced its acquisition of Italian refrigeration manufacturer Zanotti, and at the beginning of June, positioned commercial refrigeration as one of five new areas of focus in its strategic management plan Fusion 20. On this occasion, JARN interviewed Masatsugu Minaka, president of Daikin Europe, to hear about its refrigeration business strategy.
