Panasonic & BAIC to Produce AC Compressors for Electric Vehicles

Panasonic will set up a joint venture (JV) with BAIC Motor Corporation to produce parts for electric vehicles (EVs). BAIC will hold 54% of the JV, and Panasonic will hold 46%. The factory is scheduled to be built in Tianjin this year.
