Panasonic to Set up Refrigerator Plant in India

Panasonic is unfolding plans to manufacture refrigerators in India in oredr to tap the huge market of over 10.5 million units per annum in the country. The company plans to invest INR 2.5 billion (US$ 37 million) towards setting up a manufacturing plant for refrigerators.
