1. Haier’s Smart ACs on Show at ARBS
At ARBS, Haier displayed a full range of smart air conditioners. This was the first time that Haier exhibited its full range of smart air products in Australia after having inaugurated dual-brand strategy with Fisher and Paykel, the New Zealand appliance giant. The company has revealed that in the first quarter of 2016, sales of Haier’s air conditioning products in the Australian market increased fourfold compared with last year.

2. Panasonic Building AC Solutions at REVAC 2016 in Malaysia
One of the highlights of the exhibition was the Panasonic AC Smart Cloud. The company introduced its air conditioning system utilizing smart cloud for remote access control and management via FSV intelligent controllers and FSV Mini VRF and using a panel description. Panasonic’s FSV EX outdoor unit and FSV gas heat pump were also exhibited.

3. Expo Frio Calor Chile 2016
Expo Frio Calor Chile 2016, the third edition of the Chilean Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration (HVAC&R) trade show, took place in Santiago de Chile from May 11 to 13, 2016.
This trade show reached a new high with 90 companies showcasing products and services, covering over 300 different brands.

4. China’s Exports Show Positive Prospects From January to April 2016
Thanks to scorching hot weather in Africa as well as economic recovery and growth in Europe and the United States, China’s exports of RACs have seen growth in Africa, Europe, Oceania, Asia, and North America in March and April. From January to April 2016, the cumulative export volume of RACs amounted to 22.2 million units, i.e. 4.9% year-on-year growth.

5. MHI Agrees with Atlantic to Collaborate in Marketing the Q-ton in France
Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) has concluded an agreement with Atlantic Group, a leading French manufacturer of air conditioning systems and electric water heaters, under which the two companies will collaborate in marketing MHI’s Qton, a commercial-use heat pump water heater using carbon dioxide (CO2) as a natural refrigerant, throughout France
