1. Daikin Formulates Strategic Management Plan Fusion 20 
During a press conference held on June 3, Masanori Togawa, president and CEO of Daikin, summarized the essence of Fusion 20 as a project that must be put into practice by defining its ultimate goal and intensively investing the company’s management resources in it.  “As our ideal targets in fiscal year 2020, we intend to increase our net sales to \3 trillion (US$ 27.8 billion) and our operation income rate to 12%,” Mr. Togawa stressed.

2. REVAC 2016 Showcases Promising Malaysian HVAC&R Market 
The sixth edition of REVAC, Southeast Asia’s International Refrigeration, Ventilation and Air-Conditioning Show, was held from May 23 to 25 at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre in Malaysia. The three-day event attracted around 350 exhibiting companies and more than 10,000 professional trade visitors.

3. Sonkor Provides Global HVAC Market with Innovative Fan Coils 
With 30 years of experience in the HVAC industry, Sonkor Global HVAC Solutions offers the widest range of in the world, i.e. 1,800 different models and sizes of hydronic fan coils. Sonkor has created products according to market requirements, for all standard voltages with AC or EC motors and control systems. In 1998, Sonkor established its own global distribution network supported by its Polar Air brand.

4. DunAn U.S. Production Base to Be Operated in 2017 
At the end of last year, DunAn announced that the company intended to invest RMB 160 million (US$ 24 million) in a heat exchanger and component production base in Tennessee, the United States. Phase one of DunAn’s production base in Tennessee is to be completed within two years. It will start operation following construction and will achieve full production capacity at the end of 2017.

5. Mayekawa Announces Its Business Report and New Products 
During a press conference held on June 3, the president of Mayekawa explained initiatives planned in order to celebrate the 100th anniversary. In his announcement, the president said, “We intend to double total sales to about \200 billion (US$ 1.9 billion) by 2024 in order to mark the occasion of our 100th anniversary,” Then, an outline of new products was provided. The SIERRA is a compact natural refrigerant cooling package for commercial and industrial use incorporating the ammonia scroll compressor for the first time in the world.
