1. Bitzer Offers a Variety of Choices for Low-GWP Refrigerants

2. Mitsubishi Electric to Deliver Railcar AC Systems for Siemens in Germany
Mitsubishi Electric was awarded its first contract with Siemens for railcar air conditioning systems, which will be used in Desiro High Capacity railcars on the Rhine-Ruhr express (RRX) train network that connects cities and provinces in Germany’s North Rhine-Westphalia region. Mitsubishi Electric will deliver 328 air conditioning systems (82 trainsets totaling 164 cars) worth approximately \1.7 billion (approximately US$ 15 million).

3. A Glance at the Activities of iSiB
It was unanimously decided that Turkey will be the partner country of ISH 2017 to be held in Frankfurt, Germany. This is the fruit of meetings held by the Messe Frankfurt management in response to initiatives conducted by ?S?B, the Turkish HVAC&R Exporters Union.

4. KRAIA to Promote AHRI Certification in Korea
The Korea Refrigeration and Air-conditioning Industry Association (KRAIA) signed an agreement with the Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI) to serve as an agent beginning in November 2016.  As an agent, KRAIA will facilitate AHRI Certification in the Korean air conditioning and refrigeration (AC&R) industry, help Korean manufacturers better understand the requirements of the AHRI certification application, and contribute to the growth and acceptance of AHRI certification in Korea.

5. ATW Compressor Market Hits RMB 2 Billion
Air-to-water (ATW) heat pump for heating has been widely adopted across the country, showing an explosive 250% growth in 2015. Meanwhile, heat pump dryers for industrial and agricultural applications also presented robust growth, making dryers another important demand for heat pumps trailing hot water supply and heating.
