3. Mitsubishi Electric Changes Name of DeLclima to MELCO Hydronics and IT Cooling
Mitsubishi Electric announced on March 22 that DeLclima S.p.A., which Mitsubishi Electric achieved 100% ownership of on February 24, was renamed MELCO Hydronics & IT Cooling S.p.A., effective March 15.

4. Carrier Transicold Equips Transports Jammet’s Quiet Trucks with Supra City Units
Carrier Transicold’s Supra City unit designed for transport in urban areas is Piek-certified and emits a mere 60 dB. Transport companies are increasingly opting for silent delivery in cities, and Carrier Transicold is constantly reducing the noise levels of its refrigeration units without affecting performance and reliability. Supra City enables carriers to perform night deliveries to supermarkets and convenience stores in urban areas.

5. New Johnson Controls-Hitachi PAC Range for Stores and Offices to be Launched in Japan
In May 2016, Johnson Controls-Hitachi Air Conditioning (JCI-Hitachi) will unveil a new range of packaged air conditioners (PACs) for stores and offices, in the high efficiency series. Called ‘Shoene no Tatsujin Premium (R32)’, the new series consisting of 15 models. Among them, the type 140 has achieved annual performance factor (APF) 2015 requirements, joining the industry’s top energy-saving performance levels.
