Midea Carrier in Brazil has won the tenders for the provision of climate control solutions to all 12 new sports arenas and auxiliary facilities in both Barra and Deodoro Olympic Parks. The solutions provided at these venues will come as a combination of variable refrigerant flow (VRF) products and large tonnage chiller units.

4. Production of Ventilation System Brakes RMB 4.5 Billion in China
According to All View Consulting (AVC) data, total production of ventilation system hit RMB 4.5 billion (US$ 688 million) in 2015, indicating 29% year-on-year growth. Its market scale came to 400,000 units in 2015, indicating 25% year-on-year growth.

5. Panasonic Delivers Taiwan’s First CO2 Refrigerant Freezer
Panasonic Commercial Equipment Systems, through the overseas sales company of Panasonic Hong Kong’s Taiwan Branch, has made the first delivery to Taiwan of a CO2 refrigerant CFC-free freezer, a product that is gradually being adopted in Japan. The system was delivered to the Linkou Wenyi store of Taiwan FamilyMart, an overseas franchisee of Japan’s major convenience store operator FamilyMart.
