Global demand on scroll compressors for air conditioners dropped to 13.6 million units in 2015 and showing 9.4% decrease year on year. As the world’s largest market, the United States grew by 2.1% while China as the second largest market in the world, suffered 12.9% decrease.

4. Sakura Launches Big Tent Air Conditioner
Sakura Corporation based on Japan continues its challenging/growing activities for the last 15 years since its start to currently have significant numbers of Distributors and Customers in global market places.  Recently, Sakura has launched a new large-capacity air conditioner featuring a packaged design that requires no piping or gas recharging. It is designed for areas of around 250-300 m2, applicable to big tents, warehouses, temporary schools, laundry mats, exhibition and event halls, and other facilities.

5. Chinese Cold Chain Logistics Industry Expands in 2015
According to China Cold Chain Logistics Alliance, there were about 1,000 cold chain logistics enterprises in 2015, with total cold storage volume up to 26.26 million tons, indicating 28% growth year on year. Market scale of refrigerated cars approached to 100,000 units, showing 42% growth year on year. During the downturn of air conditioner market, refrigeration industry has brought business opportunities to many compressor suppliers.
