Chemours plays down plans for US 1234yf plant

Chemours has played down reports that it is planning a $178m R1234yf plant at its site in Ingleside, Texas. The reports surfaced after Chemours applied for an air permit to produce the HFO refrigerant from the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality.
