Haier to aquire GE Appliances business

Chinese manufacturer Qingdao Haier is to acquire the appliances business of leading US manufacturer General Electric. In addition, the two companies have agreed to jointly pursue global growth projects in focus areas including industrial internet, healthcare, and advanced manufacturing.
