ASHRAE Approves Filter Exception for Systems with Chilled Beams in Standard 62.1 Addendum d (2016)

The Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI) today praised ASHRAE's approval of Addendum d to ASHRAE Standard 62.1, Ventilation for Acceptable Indoor Air Quality, which states that systems including chilled beams are not required to use a filter. The revision will be published in the 2016 edition of the standard, which is expected to be published this October.
