Building Information Modelling (BIM) - hailed as the future computer- based design tool for coordinating mechanical and electrical services in building architecture - is not likely to meet the 2016 deadline set by the UK government for its use by heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) and electrical systems designers.
