* Honeywell Low GWP Refrigerants for AC&R Equipment
To respond the growing demands of climate change, Honeywell has developed the fourth generation of fluorine-based molecules, hydro-fluoroolefins (HFOs). For commercial refrigeration, Honeywell offers two HFO blended refrigerants: Solstice N40 (R448A) and Solstice N13 (R450A), and one intermediate HFC blend: Genetron Performax LT (R407F). Honeywell also offers three Solstice refrigerants with GWPs less than or equal to 1, the same or lower than CO2. These are Solstice yf (R1234yf) ,Solstice zd (R1233zd) and Solstice ze (R1234ze).

5. GMCC Launches R290 Compressor for ATW Heat Pumps
Guangdong Meizhi Compressor Company (GMCC) launched SN and SM series of new R290 compressor for air-to-water (ATW) heat pumps. GMCC has designed the compressor’s highest condensing temperature to reach up to 82 degree C, largely enhancing leaving water temperature to 70 degree C in water heater.
