3. Emerson Builds Model Supermarket to be Part of New Innovation Center
The supermarket module will support research on supermarket and convenience store refrigeration, including system controls and alternative refrigerants, plus lighting and HVAC. The module is being constructed by Emerson as one of five research areas within The Helix innovation center on the University of Dayton campus.

4. LG Unveils Smart Air Conditioner at IFA 2015
LG unveiled its smart air conditioner that are compatible with AllJoyn, an open platform for the Internet of things (IoT) developed by the Allseen Alliance. LG’s smart air conditioner not only informs owners when to replace the air filter, it can also be controlled remotely from a smartphone, putting an end to entering a hot, stuffy home on a hot day.
