EU agrees next steps to tackling climate change

Today the formal Environment Council of the EU took a step forward in reforming the EU’s Emissions Trading System (ETS). The EU ETS is the European Union’s flagship climate policy to reduce greenhouse gas emissions at the least cost whilst stimulating investment in the low-carbon economy.
