Chemours to Add New Refrigerant Production Line in China

Chemours, which became independent from DuPont in July, announced that it is adding a new production line for its Opteon YF (HFO-1234yf) in China. The new line will double its domestic low global warming potential (GWP) refrigerant production capacity to meet increasing demands in the automotive and stationary air conditioner industry for its environmental protection features.
