1. Panasonic Targets Doubling Commercial Air Conditioner Sales in Fiscal 2018

2. LG Unveils New Gasbearing Inverter Centrifugal Chiller
LG introduced the company’s newest inverter centrifugal chiller earlier this June. The exciting new chiller differentiates itself from the competition by implementing LG’s cutting-edge gas-bearing technology which allows it to operate without lubricating oil.

3. Tecumseh Provides Updated Position on Refrigerant Transition
In follow-up to the document that Tecumseh issued in October 2014 regarding recommended refrigerants, the company has continued to test various low global warming potential (GWP) refrigerants with the objective of determining suitable replacements for R404A (globally) and R134a (primarily for North America).

4. Atlantic Expanding Its Main Plant in La Rochesur- Yon
Atlantic is once again extending its main plant in La Roche-sur-Yon in the Vendee region of France. Groupe Atlantic now has a total of 5,500 employees worldwide. Heat pumps, electric water heaters and electric radiators are manufactured at the La Roche-sur-Yon plant.

5. China Implements Top Runner Program under the Act.
During the seminar commemorating the 10th anniversary of the implementation of energy label held on June 13. Zhang Xin, deputy director of the Environment and Resource Institute, China National Institute of Standardization unveiled the details about China’s Top Runner Program.
