A review in the French journal Clima+confort highlights the main innovations in packaged room air conditioning units currently entering the market: better design aesthetics, energy labeling from A to A+++, lower noise levels for both indoor and external modules, wider operating range in heat pump mode (external temperatures from -15°C to -25°C), and control via Internet/ smart phone. Lower selling prices are another growing feature of the market.
