The total sales volume of air conditioners in China came to 41.7 million units in 2014, indicating 1.3% year-on-year growth. The total export volume from China came to 43 million units in 2014, showing a 2.5% year-on-year decline, a bigger decrease compared with previous years.

2. Creating a Cool Space with Fujitsu General America
Producers of the U.S. popular home remodeling TV show, ‘Operation Build’, which airs on the History Channel, had a problem. The project they were working on - an overcrowded garage remodel for a home in South Florida - had no cooling or heating. After researching their options, they chose Fujitsu General’s heat pump air conditioner for the job.

3. Visualization of VRF Power Consumption by Remote Controller
The VRF systems developed for the purpose adopt individual zone control instead of the centralized control adopted by chiller systems. Performing on/off control of indoor units per floor or room has facilitated significant energy savings.
