In spite of the gloom pervading the Spanish economy since 2008 cur-rent forecasts are becoming more optimistic at an increase of 1.2% in GDP in 2014 and a rise to 1.8% in 2015. However, the construction industry in general is not expected to return to significant growth until 2017.
