Industry, NGOs, and Government Must Work Together for Efficiency

In testimony before the House Energy & Commerce Subcommittee on Energy & Power, Christopher Peel, Chief Operating Officer for Atlanta-based Rheem Manufacturing, an air conditioner, furnace, and water heater manufacturer, said that energy efficiency standards "achieve the greatest public benefit when industry, interested NGOs, and government officials work together."
