* The total sales volume of inverter rotary compressors in China
The total sales volume of inverter rotary compressors came to 49.9 mil-lion units in 2014, indicating 29.3% year-on-year growth. Of these, 45.2 million units were for domestic sales, showing 30.8% year-on-year growth. The total export volume came to 4.7 million units, representing 25.6% year-on-year growth.

2. Midea and Bosch Sign JV Agreement for VRF Production in China
Midea Commercial Air-Conditioner Division (Midea CAC) based in China, and Bosch Thermotechnology based in Germany plan to establish a joint venture that will manufacture variable refrigerant flow (VRF) systems in China for the global heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) market. VRF appliances use a refrigerant to cool and heat commercial buildings.

3. Embraco Launches Innovative Solutions for Cooling with R290
At AHR Expo 2015, Embraco introduced its new R290 compressors including the Plug n’ Cool sealed unit EPC line, VEGT8U, and EM2X3125U. The EPC is a complete cooling solution for commercial refrigeration compressor replacements or retrofits. VEGT8U is a high-efficiency variable-speed reciprocating compressor.
The EM2X3125U is a fixed - speed compressor.

4. Climaveneta for New BNP Paribas Bank Data Center in Paris
For BNP Val d’Europe, Climaveneta supplied a complete system able to combine the reliability and continuous cooling in the data center with sustain-ability and the perfect level of comfort in the offices. The system is composed of 12 high efficiency chillers and 28 close control units for a total of 12,200 kW and is worth more than 1 million Euro(US$ 110 million).

5. MHI AC Shipments from Thailand Grow by 25% in 2014
In February, JARN’s reporter Rakesh Kumar interviewed Noritake Hossyo, director and general manager, Marketing and Sales, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries-Mahajak Air Conditioners Co., Ltd. (MACO), at ACREX India 2015 held in Bangalore.
