Future Heat Waves in Germany

A joint study by the German environmental agency Umweltbundesamt (UBA) and the German meteorological office Deutscher Wetterdienst (DWD) has examined the likelihood of a repeat of the Europe -wide heat wave of 2003 which reputedly led to the deaths of 50,000 people.
