* World Compressor Market: Scroll Compressor
Compared to relatively flat market conditions in 2014, global demand for scroll compressors grew by 5.9% in 2014. While some emerging markets experienced slack growth, urbanization in China increased demand for multi-split air conditioners and VRF, while economic recovery in the United States led to additional expansion in the U.S. residential air conditioner market. These factors helped drive growth in the scroll compressor market last year.

1. His Majesty King Abdullah II visits Petra Engineering Industries Company
On January 21, King Abdullah II of Jordan visited Petra Engineering Industries that is the Jordanian leader in the design, manufacture and production of air conditioning, refrigeration and heating equipment and exporting to over 50 countries worldwide.

2. Mitsubishi Electric: Turning Up the Heat on Overseas Development
In November 2014, Mitsubishi Electric announced its management strategy with a final year of fiscal 2020 (end March 31, 2021). 4. Climaveneta Ready for Expo Milano 2015 in Italy
The Expo Milano 2015 includes some of Climaveneta’s challenging projects. From May 1 to October 31, 2015, the Expo will host over 130 participants and over 20 million visitors to the giant exhibition site, covering one million m2. To date a total of more than 40 units of Climaveneta’s sustainable solutions were chosen by many pavilions such as Angola, Austria, Azerbaijan, UAE, Germany, Monaco, Switzerland, and the United States.

5. 5.8 Million Air Purifiers Sold in China
According to a report released by the China Indoor and In-car Environment Monitoring Committee on December 29, 2014, 5.8 million units of air purifiers were sold in China in 2014 and the figure is expected to grow to over 9 million units in 2015.
