Environment Agency to crack down on illegal fridge recycling

At a meeting of the Industry Council for Electrical Equipment Recycling (ICER) yesterday, the Environment Agency (EA) reinforced its commitment to crack down on illegal fridge recycling and at the same time unveiled its plans to step up inspections and training in order to prevent future violations of the EA’s own guidance which was issued in 2013.
