In France, the price of domestic heating oil has dropped from around ?900 (US $ 1,000)/1,000 liters in July 2014 to around ?700 (US$ 790)/1,000 liters in January 2015, i.e. a 25% decrease. Over the same period, the price of oil has plunged 50%.
