At Chillventa 2014 held in Germany from October 14 to 16, Yanmar exhibited a 30-hp chiller that attracted the attention of many visitors. 1. Midea Joins Alliance with Xiaomi
China is undergoing rapid industry structural reform which is beyond expectation. Midea Group announced on December 14, 2014, to launch strategic cooperation with a Chinese leading smart phone manufacturer Xiaomi.

2. India Cold Chain Show 2014 Reflects High Growth Trends
India Cold Chain Show 2014 was held at Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai, from December 10 to 12, 2014. This international event covers cold storage, cold transport and cold supply chain. This year was the third edition of the exhibition. It was supported by National Centre for Cold-chain Development (NCCD) and certified by U.S. Commercial Service.

3. Heat Pumps in Europe
In 2013 there were 6.7 million heat pump systems working in Europe according to the latest report from European Heat Pump Association (EHPA) which represents 21 countries. Yearly sales have increased from 446,000 units in 2005 to 771,000 units in 2013.

4. ICR2015 Gearing up to be Even More Successful
The 24th International Congress of Refrigeration (ICR2015) will be held from August 16 to 22, 2015, in Yokohama, Japan, sponsored by the International Institute of Refrigeration (IIR) and hosted by the Japan Society of Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers (JSRAE).
