Heat Pumps and Floor Coils

Air-to-water heat pumps are automatically assumed to require underfloor coils as the heat sink because their low operating temperature gives the best performance in terms of energy efficiency. This is often seen as limiting applications to new build or to buildings needing extensive refurbishment.
