New EU Energy Regulations for Fan/Motor Units

The second stage of the Energy-related Products (ErP) Directive in Europe extends the original scope to include complete fan and motor assemblies and not just the motor. It applies to all assemblies from 125 W to 500 kW and includes the motor, the power train (e.g. direct coupled or belt drive) and the impeller.
