* ATW market in Australia
Compared with the European market, Australia’s ATW market is still in the nascent stage. Australian ATW market scale was 25,000 units in 2013, a decrease of 3.8% over 2012. By region, ATWs are more often used in New South Wales and Queensland, which account for about three-fourths of total demand. One reason for the high demand in these two states is the mild climate suited to ATW operation and the concentration of people and homes, which account for more than half of homes in Australia.
