Denmark's privately-held Danfoss A/S has offered 1.04 billion Euro ($1.34 billion) to buy Finland's Vacon Oyj VAC1V.HE -0.44% as it looks to bolster its power electronics division and create a strong alternative to current competitors, it said Friday.
