Scotland’s housing bill adds mandatory electrical safety checks

Scotland’s new Housing Bill has included an amendment on electrical safety, tabled by Bob Doris MSP. The amendment now ensures mandatory, five-yearly electrical checks, by a registered electrician, of all PRS homes - and any electrical appliance supplied with them.
