California plans to step up action on HFCs

The Scoping Plan, initially approved in 2008, describes the comprehensive range of efforts California must take to reduce greenhouse gas emissions to 1990 levels by 2020 and meet the state’s long-term goals to combat climate change. The Draft Update of Scoping Plan highlights the need for stepping up the action on short-lived climate pollutants, including hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs).
