Brazil publishes new Energy Plan by 2022

The Ministry of Mines and Energy of Brazil, through the Empresa de Pesquisa Energetica, has published its energy development plan ("Plano Decenal de Expansao de Energia", PDE) until 2022. By 2022, Brazil plans to invest BRL1,200bn (USD495bn), of which 72.5% will be directed to oil and gas, 22.6% to electricity supply and 4.9% to liquid biofuels.
