France: refrigeration (excluding air conditioning) accounts for almost 11% of electricity consumption

According to the CEREN (Centre for Economic Studies and Research on Energy), energy production in the refrigeration sector accounts for 52 TWh in total annual electric energy consumption: 25 TWh for tertiary use, 17 TWh for domestic use and 10 TWh for industrial use.
