House building continues to drive construction recovery

UK house building continued its upward trend towards the end of 2013 with the private sector leading the way, according to the latest RICS Construction Market Survey. However, the report, which covers the fourth quarter of 2013, found that the increase in activity is being met with some shortages of both skills and materials.
