California’s Title 24 Implementation Delayed

At its Dec. 11 meeting, the California Energy Commission (CEC) voted to push back the effective date for the 2013 Building Energy Efficiency Standards, also known as Title 24, from Jan. 1, 2014, to July 1, 2014, after receiving requests from industry organizations for more time to comply with the code, which regulates energy consumption of commercial and residential buildings in the state of California.
