HFC tax in Norway to increase by 44% in 2014

In the Norwegian state budget, which is to be adopted today (12 December), there is a tax increase of over 44% on used HFC refrigerants, to kick in from 1 January 2014. The fee on HFCs was introduced in 2004. One year later, the country established a reimbursement scheme for these gases.
