Denso is moving closer to commercializing an adsorption cooling system utilizing heat rejected from factories. An adsorption chiller is designed to produce chilled air by utilizing the evaporation of water. Denso’s system is compact, which reduces the cost of installation, and its power consumption is significantly lower than that of ordinary spot cooling.
