Hino Motors Develops Refrigerated Truck with HV Motor

Hino Motors has developed a prototype model of heavy-duty refrigerated truck that drives its compressor by using electricity generated by a hybrid system powertrain. In the case of existing refrigerated trucks, the engine for the refrigeration unit is mounted separately or the compressor is driven by the truck’s engine.
