COP19 side events raise awareness on natural refrigerant alternatives

Discussions on climate change mitigation efforts through the reduction of emissions of gases other than CO2, namely climate warming hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs), have quietly made their way onto the agenda of the 19th Conference of the Parties (COP19) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), which is underway in Warsaw, Poland.
