NEC Develops New System to Halve Datacenter Cooling Energy

NEC has developed ‘multistage high-efficiency cooling technology’ capable of efficiently removing heat discharged from information communication and technology (ICT) units installed on the rack in the datacenter. By applying this technology to the datacenter, it becomes possible to attain up to 50% reduction in electric power for datacenter air conditioning use.
